About this programme
The Mentor's Eye develops mentor coaching competency through scenario-based learning and coaching transcripts, using calibration practice and reflection to strengthen participants' ability to observe coaching evidence, name client impact, and deliver developmental feedback. Created by Kenneth L. McKellar, an MCC with supervisor credentials, the programme aligns with ICF Mentor Coaching Competencies across eight modules that address role clarity, ethical practice, and core mentor coaching skills. The learning approach combines guided reflections, required artifacts, and a final knowledge check, with AI-supported feedback designed to help coaches offer feedback that grows mentees while honoring their authentic voice and style. This programme is built for experienced coaches developing mentor coaching skills and for credentialed coaches preparing for ICF Mentor Coach Specialization readiness, including those using the Credit for Prior Learning pathway.
