About this programme
Coach Training World's Trauma Informed Coach Certification teaches coaches to recognize trauma's effects on clients and respond with evidence-based support grounded in neuroscience, somatic work, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology. The program develops practical competencies including creating psychological and physiological safety in sessions, identifying trauma indicators responsibly, teaching clients self-regulation techniques, and maintaining appropriate coaching boundaries while knowing when to refer. Coaches learn to understand how trauma manifests in everyday behavior and decision-making, and to support clients in developing resilience practices and moving forward from past experiences. The methodology integrates narrative, positive, and Jungian psychologies alongside mindfulness practices to equip coaches with tools for both in-the-moment support and longer-term client development. Upon completion, graduates earn the Trauma-Informed Certified Coach credential from Coach Training World.
