About this programme
Philosophy for Coaches is a graduate-level program that teaches experienced coaches how to integrate philosophical frameworks and tools from the Western tradition into their practice. Led by Julian Humphreys, a PCC with a PhD in Education and founder of Philosophy of Coaching: An International Journal, the program connects specific philosophical theories and thinkers to ICF core competencies and real coaching outcomes. Participants engage with carefully curated readings, written reflection, and interactive group discussion to develop the ability to apply philosophical thinking as a practical coaching tool. The curriculum draws on Humphreys' academic background in both psychology and philosophy, bringing scholarly depth to questions coaches encounter regularly in their work with clients.
