About this programme
Hakomi-Informed Somatic Coaching is a professional training by Embodywise that teaches coaches to integrate Hakomi methodology into their practice by working with clients' present-moment experience through mindful, curious, and compassionate presence. The programme draws on the Hakomi Method, a mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy approach developed over 40 years and grounded in neuroscience and reverence for the body's innate wisdom. Participants learn to listen beyond content, attune to how clients organize their experience in the moment, and support clients in discovering their own wisdom rather than directing them. The training combines didactic and experiential instruction with practice groups between modules and is designed for both established coaches and newer coaches developing a somatic and mindfulness-based approach. Successful completion is recognized by the International Coaching Federation as Continuing Coaching Education, and graduates receive credential recognition as a Graduate of the Hakomi-Informed Somatic Coaching program.
