About this programme
This programme teaches coaches science-backed techniques for detecting deception and building honest dialogue in coaching conversations. Led by Pamela Meyer, CEO of Calibrate Inc. and a recognized expert in deception detection, the curriculum covers psychological motivations behind dishonesty, linguistic patterns that distinguish truthful from deceptive narratives, and methods for crafting questions that encourage candid responses. The course combines theory with applied learning through case studies and practice exercises that develop observation and statement analysis skills. It addresses the interpersonal dimensions of difficult conversations, including strategies for managing passive-aggressive responses and using environmental factors to create conditions where clients feel safe being truthful. The self-paced format allows coaches to work through six video-based modules at their own pace while earning contact hours.
