About this programme
Team Coaching Foundations, delivered by Clutterbuck Coaching & Mentoring International under the practice leadership of Prof David Clutterbuck, teaches experienced coaches to apply coaching methods to whole teams rather than individuals. The programme distinguishes team coaching from one-to-one coaching, emphasizing that high individual performance does not guarantee effective team performance, and covers the structure of team interventions, core coaching skills adapted for teams, practical tools and techniques, team dynamics, and common challenges coaches encounter in this context. The learning methodology balances theory and models at 40% of content with 30% co-learning through discussion and breakouts and 30% practice of tools and techniques. Participants work through reflective assignments and engage in individual and group reflection during the workshop. This course forms the foundation of a three-level progression within the Team Coaching Programme, with advancement available to Practitioner and Senior Practitioner levels.
